Bio

Yes, her name is really Dragon

Dragon has been drawing since she could hold a pencil. Aside from the occasional drawing class and coaching from her talented mother, she has received little formal art training. Over the years she has tried her hand at painting, tattooing, and sculpture, but cartooning has been the constant, mostly in the form of expressive doodles in her journals.

Now, with the emergence of comics as a somewhat respected art form, she has been inspired to give her doodle friends voices and let stories develop.

Hidden within her silly stories about talking skull flowers and ghosts are deeper messages about life as a misfit, the power of friendship, and the villainy of society's heros.

Dragon also does all of her own web programing for this site (it's deceptively complex). She has a rare sort of brain that allows her to express herself both artistically and technologically. She has worked as a web applications developer for 9 years and just received a 2 year accounting degree. She uses her left brain to earn money, seeking to keep her art free of the monetary pressures, but it's a difficult balance to strike.
