I dislike unsolicited advertising of all sorts. This is why I use a form instead of a link to my email address on my site. It's to protect my email address from those that would try to sell me penis growing pills or child porn or even new household cleansers or kick-ass online communities. I don't want any of it.
I care about your privacy too, so I do not store email addresses on the web servers, I won't automatically add you to my newsletter mailing list, I don't sell or give email addresses to anyone. I will use it to get back to you and that's it. The end result of using the form is the same as if you had just written me an email, it just keeps my address off of the website so the leaches can't grab it.
